The first round of the 2026 Guangdong City Football Super League (also known as "Yue Chao")  will be held from April 25 to 26 across 10 cities in the province. 

Zhongshan will play their season opener on April 26 at 19:30. The squad consists of 35 players, primarily locals. They will face Zhaoqing away at the Zhaoqing New District Sports Center Professional Football Stadium. 

The "Yue Chao" season spans several major holidays, including Labor Day, Dragon Boat Festival, Mid-Autumn Festival, and National Day. Zhongshan's regular-season home games will take place at the Xingzhong Sports Stadium in Zhongshan, where they will host Guangzhou, Zhuhai, Zhanjiang, Jiangmen, and Foshan teams.

2026年广东省城市足球超级联赛（简称“粤超”）首轮将于4月25日至26日在全省10个城市开展。4月26日，中山队迎来首场比赛，客场挑战肇庆队。中山队派出以本土球员为主的35名球员。

“粤超”赛程横跨劳动节、端午、中秋、国庆等多个重要节假日。中山队常规赛主场设在中山市兴中体育场，将在此分别迎战广州队、珠海队、湛江队、江门队、佛山队。
