Asia-Pacific Media Tour Yakou, Zhongshan:
Seeking China's Sample of Sustainable Development

9月4日，参加亚太媒体高端论坛的140余名主流媒体代表，走进中山市崖口村——一个南中国海边的小渔村。

On September 4, more than 140 mainstream media representatives attending the Asia-Pacific Media Forum visited Yakou Village in Zhongshan City—a small village on the coast of southern China.

为什么选择崖口？答案，藏在这片2000亩的连片稻田里，藏在中山最大的红树林中，藏在已有三百多年历史的国家级非遗“崖口飘色”里——更藏在一条“通道”改变一座村的鲜活故事中。

Why was Yakou chosen? The answer lies in these 133 hectares of contiguous rice paddies, in Zhongshan's largest mangrove forest, in the national-level intangible cultural heritage Yakou Piaose (a traditional folk parade in which performers appear to "float" in the air through concealed supports) with a history of over 300 years—and, even more, in the vivid story of rural revitalization.

2024年6月30日，深中通道正式通车。毗邻通道出口的崖口村，一夜之间成为对接深圳、融入大湾区的“前沿节点”。

On June 30, 2024, the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Link was officially opened to traffic. Yakou Village, located adjacent to the link's exit, became a bridgehead for Zhongshan, connecting with Shenzhen and integrating into the Greater Bay Area overnight.

数据会说话——2024年，崖口村累计接待游客584万人次；2025年上半年，游客数量突破300万，周末单日客流最高突破6万人次。 累计接待了37个国家共60名驻华使节。如今，煲仔饭一条街年产值突破3000万元。 170多名青年返乡创业，仅村咖年营收就超2000万元。一粒米、一方田、一片海，崖口找到了农文旅融合的“密钥”，也为亚太地区众多面临同样发展挑战的乡村，提供了一份可借鉴的“崖口方案”。

Let the statistics tell: in 2024, Yakou Village received a total of 5.84 million tourist visits; in the first half of 2025, the number of visitors exceeded 3 million, with the highest single-day number of visitors reaching over 60,000 on weekends.
