Malaysian museum expert praises
“Sunwen West”

历经数年的保护活化工程，孙文西路步行街于全新面貌于9月28日正式开街。这条见证了中山商业辉煌的历史街区，在保留原有风貌的同时，注入了新的生机与活力。来自马来西亚的陈素明是孙中山霹雳博物馆（筹建中） - 可持续发展示范卓越中心的馆长，不久前也游览了孙文西路。“这些建筑实在太美了。” 她感觉，孙文西路的建筑风格与马来西亚许多地方的建筑有相似之处，体现了华侨对文化交流的推动。未来，她希望两地可以联动，开展更多交流。“在怡保市也有一条孙中山史迹径，明年，我们的孙中山霹雳博物馆即将开放，欢迎大家来参观，我也希望日后组织一些参访团来中山看看。” 

The Sunwen West Road pedestrian street was officially opened to the public on September 28th in its new appearance. This historical district, which witnessed the commercial prosperity of Zhongshan, has been restored.

Chen Sue Meng, the Curator of Sun Yat-sen Perak Museum (under construction) -Centre of Excellence in Sustainable Development in Malaysia recently visited Sunwen West Historical and Cultural Block. " It's wonderful." She feels the architectural style of the buildings on
Sunwen West in Zhongshan is similar to that of  many buildings in Malaysia, reflecting the promotion of cultural exchanges by overseas Chinese. In the future, she hopes that the two places can collaborate and carry out more exchanges. "There is also a Sun Yat-sen Historical Trail in Ipoh City. Next year, our Sun Yat-sen Perak Museum will open. I hope that you will come to visit it. And I also hope to organize some visiting groups to Zhongshan in the future."
