Trained by Bruce Lee's Fellow Disciple
Serbian Physicist
Teaches Wing Chun in Zhongshan
More than 40 years ago, a Bruce Lee film changed the course of a young Serbian boy's life.
At the age of 14, Dragan Markovic (Mark) began his Wing Chun journey under Master Leung Ting, a disciple of Ip Man and a junior fellow apprentice of Bruce Lee. For over four decades, he has devoted himself to Wing Chun, establishing martial arts schools across Europe and Africa to promote Wing Chun culture around the world.
Beyond the martial arts, Mark is also a professor of acoustical and optical physics. In his view, physics and Wing Chun share the same pursuit: uncovering the principles that govern nature and the mechanics of the human body.
In 2018, Mark moved to Zhongshan, where he has been teaching Wing Chun and mentoring students ever since.
As he puts it, "China now is my second homeland."
